There are few artists who can look back on a career as varied and successful as Maggie Reilly’s. From her soul and funk-influenced beginnings in the 1970s with her group Cado Belle, through her international career as a singer and stage sensation with the Mike Oldfield Group, to her status as a highly acclaimed institution as a solo artist, Maggie Reilly has been a fixture in show business for almost 40 years.

After Maggie Reilly recorded her first album with Cado Belle in 1976 – an album clearly influenced by soul and West Coast sounds – and toured the world with greats such as Poco, she achieved her global breakthrough in 1981 as the lead singer of the Mike Oldfield Group.

It is her voice that has made hits such as “Moonlight Shadow”, “Family Man”, “To France” and “Foreign Affair” the personal soundtracks of millions. Even today, these songs remain a staple of radio playlists and have secured their place in the history of music and in the lives of music lovers.

In the late 1980s, Maggie Reilly took time out for her family. In 1992, she made a remarkable comeback with her first solo album, “Echoes”. Her very first single, “Everytime We Touch”, stormed to the top of the international charts and proved that the Scottish singer could build on the successes of her time with Mike Oldfield as a solo artist and songwriter in her own right.

Further successes followed with the hits “Wait”, “Follow The Midnight Sun”, “Listen To Your Heart”, “Every Single Heartbeat”, and “Always You”. “Everytime We Touch” even managed to storm to the top of the charts a second time. As a dance version by the band Cascada, it held the number one spot in the US charts for weeks.

Following the huge success of the “Moonlight Shadow” Europe Tour 2025, her fans will once again be able to enjoy her enchanting voice and her fantastic band in 2026.
