Between observation and belonging: a portrait of a street.
Despite living in Poland for over ten years, Arjun Talwar still has a feeling of foreignness. To break through this barrier, he picked up a camera and began interviewing and filming the people in his immediate neighbourhood - the historic Wilcza Street. His goal: to become a part of his neighbours' world through the lens.
Chance encounters and shared destinies On his film journey, he unexpectedly meets his girlfriend Mo, who is also a migrant and filmmaker making her way in Poland. Together they delve deep into the neighbourhood and uncover hidden stories that go far beyond everyday life.
In this documentary film, Wilcza Street becomes much more than just a place - it is a powerful symbol of a Europe in transition. Tradition and modernity collide here as the protagonists explore the fine line between a sense of home and deep alienation.
