The Herculean Club: Generation XY Unresolved
A fast-paced, youthful cabaret about an age-old conflict
What times we live in! Division and rifts everywhere. One conflict is as old as humanity itself: old versus young, young versus old. Baby boomers rail against Generation Z, traditionalists can’t make head nor tail of millennials, and the youngest Generation Alpha is at its wits’ end because it doesn’t yet know exactly who it’s supposed to be against.
And some ask themselves: Which generation do I actually belong to? What if, at 18, I like wearing beige and think Horst Lichter is brilliant? What if, at 70, I make TikTok videos and play first-person shooters?
But once the smoke has cleared from the generational battle, you start to see shared views and values here and there that simply don’t fit the generational stereotypes. True to the motto: ‘I’m constantly shocked by how old people my age are!’
Following on from the long-running KEULEN hit “Hüttenkäse” comes the latest offering from author Michael Frowin, who has already turned this cabaret comedy into an absolute hit with audiences in Hamburg and Frankfurt (Oder). Directed by Matthias Nagatis.
Starring: Johanna Mucha, the new ensemble member from Vienna, and audience favourite Mario Grünewald, who already won over the hearts – and brought laughter to the faces – of the audience in “Hüttenkäse”.
GENERATION XY UNSOLVED – a huge treat for every generation.
