Experimental oil painting - Rediscover the freedom of oil painting!
In this workshop, we will immerse ourselves in the technical basics of oil painting - with a special focus on the transparent application of colour. The aim is to give you a new, playful approach to your own creative processes and to awaken the joy of experimentation.
What you can expect
- Introduction to the basics of oil painting
- Working with transparent colour layers and glazes
- Knowledge about substrates, binders and pigments
- Practical exercises for more confidence and artistic freedom
- Space for your own experimentation and individual painting ideas
Knowledge of materials is the key to freedom, especially in oil painting.
The right surface, the right binder and the properties of the pigments have a decisive influence on the painting process.
Particularly exciting: when working on a non-absorbent surface, the colour remains open and mobile for a long time. This allows the colour application to be further developed and creatively worked in many directions. This takes away the fear of supposed "mistakes" - especially for beginners - and opens up a wide range of creative possibilities.
And all of this is combined with shared meals and a relaxed, creative atmosphere.
As part of the German-Polish workshop series "Relaxed creative!", we invite you to a creative workshop "Experimental oil painting".
Who is it for? For all adults and young people aged 16+, no experience required. The workshop will be held bilingually (DE/PL). Participation is free of charge, but registration is required!
Materials and catering will be provided.
