Dance and Improvisation / Taniec i improwizacja
DE/PL
As part of the German-Polish workshop series ‘Entspannt kreativ!’, we warmly invite you to our ‘Dance and Improvisation’ workshop at RABRYKA!
COME TOGETHER
Through dance and movement, we connect with our bodies and our inner impulses, which are nourished by strength and stillness. We experiment with the possibilities of expression offered by our bodies, voices and movement. On this day, we come together in the flow of movement, encounter other bodies and souls, and experience the moment – in rhythm, in music and in shared connection. What unfolds from this is pure joy and a profound sense of connection.
The workshop combines methods from Contact Improvisation, the 5 Rhythms dance, stylistic elements of dance theatre and martial arts. These help participants to become consciously aware of their bodies and to engage in a lively exchange with one another.
Led by: Claudia Stricker – theatre educator, craniosacral practitioner, therapist and mother of two.
Who is it for?
For all adults and young people aged 16 and over. No prior experience is required. The workshop will be conducted in two languages (German/Polish).
Please bring: comfortable, warm clothing (layered), thick socks or dance shoes, a water bottle; if you wish, you can bring your own piece of music (playable via smartphone).
