Experience music – crawling allowed: classical music for babies and toddlers.

Who says you have to sit still to enjoy a first-class concert? With its ‘Krabbel-Klassik’ series, the Gerhart-Hauptmann Theatre is breaking down barriers and inviting families with children aged 0 to 2 to a special musical adventure.

A space for discovery In collaboration with PhilMehr! Philharmonische Brücken e. V., we have developed a concept that is consistently tailored to the needs of babies and their families:

• Freedom of movement: Our youngest guests don’t have to sit still in their chairs. They are free to move around the room, crawl about and explore the sounds with all their senses.
• A selection suitable for toddlers: The pieces of music have been carefully chosen to gently stimulate without overwhelming the children.
• Relaxation for parents: Enjoy high-quality classical music in an atmosphere where children’s laughter or a little crawling adventure are an integral part of the experience – perhaps whilst sipping a cup of coffee.

• Duration: Approx. 40 minutes (ideal for little ones’ attention spans).
