Once again this year, we would like to continue a much-loved tradition and warmly invite you, your family and friends to our ASB Summer Party!

On 1 August from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm, we’ll be opening the doors of our senior citizens’ centre and look forward to a cheerful afternoon full of socialising, entertainment and shared experiences. Together with our long-standing companions, dedicated partners and new supporters, we have put together a varied programme for young and old alike.

Across the grounds and in the park, you’ll find numerous information stands, hands-on activities and presentations. Find out about the wide range of social services and support offered by the ASB, have a chat with our staff and volunteers, and take the opportunity to gain interesting insights during our guided tours of the centre.

We are particularly delighted that so many partners and stakeholders are taking part in our summer festival again this year. Alongside our tried-and-tested activities, you can look forward to new ideas, exciting events and plenty of surprises that invite you to explore and get involved.

Of course, there’ll be plenty of entertainment. Look forward to lively brass band music from the Berthelsdorf Volunteer Fire Brigade, performances by our popular senior citizens’ dance group, and other guests who’ll be contributing to the success of the festival with great enthusiasm and dedication.

Refreshments are also well catered for: enjoy coffee and cake, freshly baked waffles, grilled bratwurst and hearty solyanka from the field kitchen. Refreshing drinks and the popular soft-serve ice-cream van from Rauschwalde will add to the summery fun.

Our younger visitors can look forward to a colourful children’s programme. A giant slide, a bubble mountain, craft activities, face painting and pony rides promise plenty of fun and unforgettable experiences.

We would like to extend a special thank you in advance to all our patrons, sponsors, partners and the numerous full-time and volunteer helpers. It is their commitment, time and support that make our summer festival possible in the first place.

We look forward to seeing many familiar and new faces, to good conversations, shared laughter and a carefree summer’s day in a pleasant atmosphere.
